about a year ago i bought a 2.0 jetta with a blown a.m trans. i did a motor / trans swap. and some body work.
before.



and this was how it looked after the bodywork motor/trans swap 5 lug swap cupkit and 16x9 tsw hoc-r's. joey modded headlight with city lights, smoked blinkers & dummy lights cabby gauge cluster, and euro lip.


now going on year two and its getting a vr6 motor and all the good stuff that come with doing the swap. so here is the car before i started the vr6 swap.


and where i am now.




i will post more step by step on the polishing, timing chains, shaving.

got the cam cover off today to find my 1996 vr6 motor to be a early 96. meaning that after swaping to a ob2 setup in 1995 vw still ran a dual chain set for the timing. found on 1992-1996. vw has drop this for a single chain models late 1996 and up.

until the motor lets go and sends what's left of your internals through the hot side. just cause Billy's 48r still spools after that doens't mean yours will.
